LMR Stone Fruit Jam Picked at their peak, the essence of these luscious summer fruits is perfectly captured in the jar. We combine nectarines, pluots, plums, peaches and apricots from our orchards to make our stone fruit jam. The characteristic sweet and tart notes of these fruits makes it pair well with both sweet and savory dishes. This versatile spread is ideal for morning pastries and toast or swirled into yogurt.
LMR Strawberry Jam Just next to our Sauvignon Blanc vineyard at our Rutherford Estate on the valley floor, we grow both Albion and Seascape strawberry varieties. As soon as the strawberries reach peak ripeness, we harvest them and rush them to the kitchen at Farmstead where they are gently simmered to bring out the fresh-picked aromas. This jam is perfect on a homemade biscuit or toasted baguette.
LMR Fig Preserves Each fall, we have an abundance of figs at Long Meadow Ranch. The granddaddy of our fig trees is our hundred-year-old Black Mission Fig, which spans over 100 feet in diameter. Figs from this behemoth, along with our Candy Stripe, Brown Turkey and Adriatic varieties, go into making this special jam. The fruit’s ripe sweetness is a perfect complement to savory flavors. Pair this versatile spread with bread, cheese, ice cream and more. For savory dishes, it works beautifully with roasted pork.
