2018 Pinot Noir
“A deep ruby red color with a combination of dried earth and musky roses with penetrating spice aromas on the nose. Shows a refined and silken texture and remains fresh and lively across the palate with intensity of fruit. Intriguing, balanced, and complex, it is a great picture of the finesse and intensity of Pinot Noir in Anderson Valley.” –Stephane Vivier
The growing season got off to a very fast start, despite the rainy weather, temperatures stayed warm. Early in August the weather took a turn to a steady and cool regimen, a blessing that prolonged the season and added time for the flavors and textural elements of the grapes to slowly ripen to perfection.
